Jorge Estevez is an American journalist who currently serves as an anchor and reporter for WSB-TV in Atlanta, Georgia, United States since joining the network in January 2005. He presents the network’s Channel 2 Action News at 11 pm. Estevez attended Rutgers University in New Jersey. He graduated with a double degree in Journalism and Communication.
His career began in New York in the late 1990s and his first television job was at News 12 The Brox, where he worked as a reporter. He was later promoted to the position of morning anchor in less than a year. Furthermore, he was nominated for an Emmy Award after airing the story of a 12-year-old boy who became an author after his battle with bone marrow cancer.
