Taheshah Moise is an American journalist who currently works as a morning news anchor at KCEN-TV since joining the station in July 2021. Prior to joining the current station, Moise worked in Greenboro/Winston-Salem, North Carolina at WFMY News. 2 as an anchor and multimedia journalist. She attended a local high school and later joined Liberty University in 2011, where she graduated with a BA in broadcast journalism in 2014.
Her career began at KXXV in Waco in 2014, where she served as a morning and midday anchor. She, however, left the station in 2017 and moved to North Carolina. In Carolina, she accepted a nightly anchor position on WFMY News 2. At WFMY, several of her stories went viral being featured on TV stations across the country. Her story of a woman’s nightmare pedicure led to changes at the state level.
In 2018, she was part of the team that produced an award-winning coverage celebrating the Rev. Billy Graham. The coverage earned the team an award from the NC Association of Broadcasters. The TEGNA Pinnacle Awards also named the coverage a Breaking News finalist.
Additionally, Teheshah helped start a new afternoon talk show called Four 2 Five on WFMY News 2. When off duty, this eloquent journalist can be found playing volleyball or enjoying the arts.
