Julie Haener is an American journalist who currently works at KTVU-TV as an overnight news anchor. Julie’s interest in journalism was inspired by a sportscaster who was a family friend.
She became more interested when he invited her and her mother to watch the evening news. After her graduation, she desperately wanted to work and started her first job in Yakima, Washington DC.
Julie worked 12 hours every day, filming, writing and editing her own stories as a reporter for a band. Later, she found her next job in Fresno, California. Here she worked for KJEO-TV as a weekly anchor and health reporter.
She then received a job offer at KIRO-TV in Seattle during her honeymoon. Julie was supposed to work as a morning anchor during the week. After two years, she left KIRO-TV for KTVU, where he was promoted to weekend anchor.
Since then she has won 7 Emmy Awards. Julie attended Bellarmine High School in Tacoma. Later, she majored in journalism from the University of Washington.
