At the age of 16, Kate Moss’s modeling career officially began in 1990, after a picture of her taken by the legendary British photographer Corinne Day was published in the now-defunct British magazine The Face. At the age of 18, she became the face of Calvin Klein and subsequently appeared in several high-profile, risky advertising campaigns.

Her first cover for British Vogue was published in 1992, and her career continued with a meteoric rise in the 1990s and well into the 2000s. In 1999, Kate Moss was voted 9th on Maxim magazine’s list of the “50 sexiest women” of the year. According to Forbes magazine, she earned about $5 million between 2004 and 2005.

At the end of 2005, Kate Moss was the focus of a series of controversies following allegations of drug use. As a result, she was excluded from several advertising campaigns with brands such as H&M, Chanel, and Burberry. However, due to a lack of evidence, she was cleared of all charges by the London Metropolitan Police in June 2006.

After the charges were dropped, Kate Moss returned to her profitable habits when she appeared in advertising campaigns for virtually every major fashion house in the world: Chanel, Burberry, Balenciaga, Versace, Givenchy, Yves Saint Laurent, Dior, Gucci, Dolce & Gabbana, Calvin Klein, Alexander McQueen, and so many others.

She also achieved several international magazine covers, when she again shot to the top of the ranking of the highest-paid models. In fact, Kate Moss achieved much more success in her career after the infamous drug scandal. She was also named Model of the Year at the 2006 British Fashion Awards.

Because of her regular use of fur, Kate Moss was listed as one of the “worst dressed” celebrities of 2008 by the American animal rights organization PETA. The fashion entrepreneur has launched 4 perfume lines with the titles Kate Moss, Vintage Muse, Lila Belle, and Love Blossoms. She has also collaborated with the international fashion retail brand Topshop on 2 clothing collections released in 2007 and 2014 respectively.

Kate Moss Body Height And Other Body Measurements

In contrast to the tall and buxom supermodels of the late 80s (Naomi Campbell, Elle Macpherson, Claudia Schiffer, and Cindy Crawford), Kate Moss possessed a slender figure that was characterized by a very slender body paired with an angular bone structure. Her eccentric physique earned her the nickname “Anti-Model”. She is indeed one of the leading fashion figures who has made “The waif look” more acceptable in fashion circles.

In 1996, Moss was severely criticized for her weight after a Calvin Klein underwear advertising campaign that highlighted her very skinny features. However, she always insisted that she was not anorexic. Eventually, she overcame the criticism and established herself as one of the models to be reckoned with in her generation.

As a model you rightly expect her to have the best body statistics, which should be a benchmark for other women. Yes, Kate does not disappoint here; her bosom is 34 inches or 86.5 cm, and her waist is 26 inches or 66 cm long. When she comes down the hips, she is 35 inches or 89 cm. All these weigh about 55 kg or 121 pounds when standing at 5 feet 7 inches. Kate wears a US size 4 or EU size 34 dress size and her shoes are usually US size 7 or EU size 37.
