Kathryn Tappen is a renowned American sportscaster who currently works on NBC Sports Group coverage for Notre Dame Football, Football Night in America, as well as the Summer and Winter Olympics, among others.
In her nearly two-decade career, Tappen has served as a host on shows such as NHL Live and NHL Tonight. She has also worked as a reporter for Football Night America and as a contributing reporter for NBC Sports’ coverage of the Super Bowl in 2015 and 2018.

Prior to that, Tappen worked for the New England Sports Network (NESN) for five years, where she served as the head studio host of Boston Bruins games and covered the Boston Celtics, Boston Red Sox, and New England Patriots.

Beginning in calendar year 2022, Tappen’s responsibilities have expanded to include the lead interviewer for NBC Sports’ golf coverage of the PGA TOUR and major championships.
