Krystal Klei Biography
Krystal Klei is a renowned American meteorologist who currently works for NBC10’s First Alert Weather team. Klei joined the NBC10 weather team in July 2016 and broadcasts live forecasts during the weekend morning news.
Krystal attended Arizona State University, where she received a bachelor’s degree in Geography-Meteorology/Climatology, as well as a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism.
She got her meteorology internship at KNXV-TV for a period of 5 months from January 2011 to May 2011. She also interned for another 4 months at the network but as a news intern.
As of August 2011, Klei worked as a Weather Anchor at Phoenix-based Cronkite News Watch, KAET. At the station, Krystal was responsible for producing the weather shows and their live performance, as well as developing, writing and filming new stories.

Krystal loves to get involved with local STEM education efforts and animal rescue initiatives. She always tries to visit local schools and teach meteorology whenever possible. As an avid animal lover, Klei serves as the host of Clear the Shelters on NBC10.
