Leila Rahimi is an American journalist who currently works as a sports anchor and reporter at WSCR in Chicago. He also works part-time as an anchor at WMAQ-TV.
After high school, she interned with Dallas Mavericks announcers Wally Lynn and Mike Fisher. In 2002, Rahimi graduated magna cum laude from the University of North Texas in journalism.
She also worked as an anchor and reporter at KTCK-AM Sports Radio in Dallas from 2001 to 2005. After leaving the station in 2005, she went to work as a sports anchor and reporter at KXII-TV (a CBS affiliate) in Sherman, Texas 2006.
In 2007, she accepted a position at KXAN-TV (an NBC affiliate) in Austin, Texas. She worked here for some time before moving to San Diego to work at Fox Sports San Diego, where she served as a field reporter for the San Diego Parades. Rahimi then returned to Texas, working at Comcast SportsNet Houston as an anchor, reporter and side reporter for the Houston Astros.

She worked for two years in Philadelphia as an anchor and reporter for Comcast SportsNet Philadelphia. In October 2015, she was hired as an anchor for NBC Sports Chicago, where she, from the 2019-2020 season, serves as a side reporter on Chicago Bulls broadcasts.
Rahimi was fired from NBC Sports Chicago as part of company-wide cuts at NBCUniversal in August 2020. In January 2021, she was announced to partner with Dan Bernstein in a new half-day show dubbed “Bernstein and Rahimi.
After a year, she was fired from NBC Sports Chicago and returned to NBCUniversal in November as a part-time sports anchor and reporter for the NBC-owned station WMAQ-TV. She currently co-hosts the noon at WSCR in Chicago with Dan Bernstein and works as a part-time anchor on WMAQ-TV.
