Lourdes Duarte is an American news journalist for WGN-TV. At 4pm, she is an investigative journalist and co-host of the WGN News Evening News. Her career started as a freelance reporter in Chicago for Telemundo, which is a Spanish network.
She later moved to Miami and worked for Metro Networks radio stations WLRN-FM and WTMI-FM. She also initiated and hosted “Hoy en Dia”, public relations program for the network as a TV reporter for WHOI-TV in Peoria, WXIN-TV in Indianapolis and WJBK-TV in Detroit, the next step in Duarte’s career, and anchored daily news cut-ins for WEDJ-FM radio in Spanish.
