Lynette Romero is a renowned American Emmy Award-winning journalist and television personality who currently works as an anchor and reporter for the KTLA 5 Morning News. She joined the KTLA staff in January 1999 as a general reporter.
During her first year at KTLA 5, she won the prestigious Golden Mike Award from the Radio and Television News Association of Southern California, for reporting on and producing the KTLA News series “Public Schools: Working the System”. She received a Bachelor of Science degree from University of Colorado in Boulder, Colorado, in journalism and television news.
Romero received a second Golden Mike Award for Best 60 Minute Night Show along with his new colleagues during his tenure at KTLA.
