Mallory Factor is an American pharmaceutical executive, author and media contributor who rose to fame as the founder and executive chairman of a biopharmaceutical company called IntraBIo. The company is currently headquartered in Oxford, UK. Mallory also served as the John C. West Professor of International Politics and American Government at The Citadel, the Military College of South Carolina in Charleston, South Carolina. He is also the co-author of two books titled Shadowboxes and Big Tent.
Factor was born and raised in Bridgeport Connecticut to a working-class family of Caucasian descent. He grew up as a very introverted boy who had a passion for medicine from a very young age. Mallory finished and attended high school in Connecticut. From there, he graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Wesleyan University. He later attended Columbia Law School and a prestigious New York-based Business School.
Mallory founded IntraBio in 2015 after completing all of her studies. His main goal in starting the business was and still is to commercialize new treatments for rare and common neurodegenerative diseases.
