Maria Genero is an American journalist and weather anchor who works for WGRZ in Buffalo, New York. Prior to WGRZ, Maria worked at WYRK in 1984 as the station’s weekend weatherman. Geno also worked for WCIX as Mark McEwen’s lead weather anchor on CBS This Morning.
Mary participated in University of Mississippi Meteorological Transmission. She began working at the Buffalo-affiliated Columbia Broadcasting System as a weekend weatherman. Also, in the summer of 1989, Maria moved to Miami, Florida to work for WCIX, the station owned and operated by CBS as a 6pm and 11pm weatherman.
Soon after, Genero was hired by Fox News in New York as the host of “Good Day New York”. Maia is also featured in the films Striptease and Wishmaster 2: Evil Never Dies.
