Biography of Marielle Mohs
Marielle Mohs is an American journalist who is currently working at WCCO-TV as a multimedia reporter/journalist since joining the station in 2019. Mohs is excited to be telling stories in her home state of Minnesota.
Marielle often shoots and edits her own stories before they air. Prior to joining WCCO-Tv, Nohs worked as a reporter in St. Louis, Missouri, at KMOV. On the station, she told standout stories for “St. Proud Louis.”
In 2019, Marielle was nominated for a Midwest Emmy and won the 2019 Missouri Broadcasters Award. In St. Louis, Mohs managed to cover the 100th PGA Championship and St. Louis Blues winning the Stanley Cup in 2019, both were career highlights!
Mohs grew up in Eden Prairie before moving to Linden Hills, where he entered high school at Benilde-St. from Margareth. She is a proud graduate of the University of Denver with a BA in Journalism Studies and a specialization in Spanish and Marketing.
After graduation, Marielle began her career in Little Rock, Arkansas at KTHV as a producer and quickly transitioned into a reporter. After some time, she ended up becoming an investigative reporter and then the weekend night anchor.
His humble beginnings have been his daily work routine to this day. That includes picking up ice cream at Sebastian Joe’s in high school and serving buckets of fries at the Fresh French Fries booth at the Minnesota State Fair during your college summer break.
Marielle is an avid lover of skiing, both in the water and in the snow. She went to college in Denver so she could go skiing every weekend in the winter. Most of her fans call her “Elle”.
