Daji Aswad biography
Daji Aswad is an American meteorologist and weather reporter who currently works for WISN 12, ABC News. Aswad anchors alongside Ben Wagner on the weekend nightly news at 5pm, 6pm and 10pm. Previously, before joining WISN12 News, she was a news intern at WOAI-TV.
Aswad is a Graduate of the Academy of Harmony Sciences, where he studied from 2008 to 2011. In addition, Daji is an alumnus of University of the Incarnate Word. She holds a Bachelor’s degree and a specialization in Communication Arts in Broadcast Meteorology.
Daji worked as a meteorologist at AccuWeather from 2015 to 2020 before joining ABC News. She previously worked as an entertainment director for the University of the Incarnate Word and as a morning weather forecaster for the WOAI-TV newscast in San Antonio, Texas (UIWTV).
