Mark Albert is an American journalist who serves as the lead national investigative correspondent for Hearst Television in Washington DC.
For over 20 years, he has worked as a correspondent and editor-in-chief for a news startup he launched. He is a Peabody winning journalist who has appeared on all CBS News broadcasts, including the CBS Evening News as well as CBS News Radio, where he worked as a freelance correspondent on the network for three years.
As a result of the investigation into the death of a sailor in Iraq, Albert won broadcast journalism’s highest honor, the George F. Peabody Award. In addition, Mark is the holder of National Headliner Awards, including, the Big prize in National Press Foundation and the National Press Club.
Albert attended and graduated from the University of Southern California with a BA in Broadcast Journalism and a major in Political Science.
