Marshall Zelinger biography
Marshall Zelinger is an American journalist who currently works for KUSA-TV 9News as an investigative and political reporter. During the week, he contributes to Kyle Clark’s Next, where he covers breaking news, investigations, politics and all things kindergarten like show and tell.
Zelinger joined 9News in January 2017 after spending seven years as an investigative multimedia reporter at KMGH and 7News of Denver. From May 2004 to January 2010, Marshall worked as a reporter and weekend anchor on NewsChannel 13, KRDO-TV, from May 2004 to May 2010. From May 2003 to April 2004, he worked as the Butte County Bureau Chief for NewsChannel 7, KRCR -TELEVISION.
Marshall earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism and broadcast news from University of Colorado Bouolder in 2002. His ambition after graduation was to become a sports anchor, but although he had always worked as a reporter, this did not materialize. He managed to cover two Super Bowl appearances for the Denver Broncos in New York and San Francisco, as well as the Colorado Rockies World Series in Boston.
