Emily Sutton is a certified American meteorologist who currently works as a morning weather forecaster at KFOR-TV. She became KFOR-first TV’s first female weatherman when she joined the 4Warn Storm team in December 2009. Sutton predicts that she produces and anchors weather segments for Newschannel 4 at 4:00, 5:00 and 6:00, as well as Rise and Freedom 43 TV. . Shine from 7am to 9am

In August 2013, Sam Anderson wrote an article for “The New York Times Magazine” and his blog “The 6th Floor” about his storm-hunting adventures. She was featured in a storm chasing article in “Popular Mechanics” magazine. The KFOR team received a national Emmy for its coverage of Moore’s tornado on May 20, 2013.
Emily’s interest in the weather began at a young age, but she didn’t recognize it until she joined the University of Missouri’s Storm Chase team in 2004, when she witnessed her first tornado. Sutton began his television career in 2007 at KMIZ-TV in Columbia, Missouri, before moving to WCYB-TV in Bristol, Tennessee.
In addition to the weather, she enjoys singing and has performed for thousands of people at events such as the famous NASCAR track in Tennessee, the Oklahoma City Barons hockey team and the Oklahoma City Thunder basketball team.
