Matt Mauro is an American journalist who currently works at FOX31 News as the 5 pm, 9 pm and 10 pm news anchor on weekends. He is also a reporter on FOX31 and Channel 2 during the week. Mauro is a proud graduate of the University of Florida, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Telecommunications. Most notably, Matt began his career at KWCH-TV in Wichita, first as an office reporter in Dodge City, followed by an education reporter and eventually a morning anchor on KWCH and KSCW.
Prior to Phoenix, he worked as a weekday anchor at KRQE/KASA in Albuquerque, New Mexico, where he spent three years behind the desk of the city’s fastest growing awakening program. In addition, he has also worked as a presenter and correspondent for Hollywood Dailies and Spotlight on ReelzChannel in Los Angeles and has been a freelance presenter on various entertainment networks. He currently works as a reporter and anchor for FOX31 News.
