Megan Telles is an Emmy Award-winning American journalist currently working as a general reporter for KTLA 5 News since September 2018. Telles reports for KTLA Morning News, the #1 morning show in Los Angeles.
Previously, she spent two years in Sacramento as a morning news anchor starting in October 2016. She also served as a news presenter and talk show host for ABC affiliate KTNV-TV in Las Vegas. At the same time, Megan worked as a national entertainment correspondent for the syndicated magazine show, Celebrity Page TV.
Her deep passion for breaking news won her over after experiencing many tornado seasons in Alabama. She vividly remembers being glued to the radio as she reported the speed of the wind as her family hid for safety in the hall closet. Telles is a proud graduate of Los Osos High School and the Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism at the University of Southern California. Furthermore, she is a member of the National Association of Hispanic Journalists.
Telles began her career as an intern at Disney’s ABC Television Community Entertainment News. Immediately after graduation, she landed another internship at CBS2. At the same time, Telles served as a talk show host at the University of Southern California. She also worked as a freelance reporter at Petra Productions’ assistant producer The San Diego Union-Tribune.

She also worked as a reporter, anchor and daytime talk show host at KTNV, the ABC affiliate in Las Vegas. As the host of the Vegas Valley View Liv! daytime talk show, Telles performed live from the red carpet at the Billboard Music Awards.
