Erica Hill is an American journalist who currently works as a deputy primary anchor and correspondent for CNN. Furthermore, she led Weekend Today from 2012 to 2016, the following work on CBS since 2008. She attended and graduated from Boston University in 1998 with a Bachelor of Science in Journalism.

On June 6, 2016, she announced her return to HLN as an anchor for a daytime news show. She would also contribute to CNN. Hill’s daily news show “On the Story with Erica Hill” premiered in October 2016.
On April 19, 2018, it was announced that she would return to CNN as a main anchor and national correspondent.
