Melissa Peterman is an American actress and comedian who gained fame for playing the role of Barbra Jean in the famous comedy series called Reba. She also rose to fame for playing the role of Bonnie Wheeler on ABC and Freeform’s Baby Daddy. Melissa has also landed several roles in TV series and movies like Young Sheldon, Bet on Your Baby and CMT’s The Singing Bee. His most recent roles are in other shows and movies like Reba McEntire’s The Hammer (2023), Last Man Standing (2019 to 2020) and Sydney to the Max (2019 to 2020).
Peterman was born and raised in a working-class family living in Edina, Minnesota, USA. She grew up as the only daughter in her family. Therefore, Melissa received great support and attention from her father and mother. She finished high school at Burnsville High School, located in her hometown. From there, Peterman graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Theater and Arts from Minnesota State University.
