Biography of Marisol González
Marisol González Casas is a Mexican television personality, actress, and beauty pageant who won the title of Nuestra Belleza México 2002 and completed the Miss Universe 2003 pageant held in Panama City, Panama on June 3, 2003. Marisol is a reporter for Televisa Deporter.
She holds a degree in communication from Universidad Iberoamericana Laguna. Gonzales began her career in 2002 when she participated in a pageant where she stood out as the winner of that year’s Nuestra Belleza Mexico. Furthermore, she went on to participate in Miss Universe in 2003. But unfortunately, she was eliminated early in the competition. After that, she decided to study acting at Televisa’s CEA and in 2015 she made her first appearance as an actress in the telenovela called “Contra viento y marea”.
Later, Marisol was cast in a Televisa comedy called Vecinos and also appeared in the series RBD: La Family with a tertiary role. In 2008, her career took a turn when she entered the world of journalism. She was first hired by the Mexican sports channel, where she worked as a presenter on the broadcast of Super Bowl XLII and the Beijing Olympics. Gonzales became popular when she was cast as the main host of the World Cup in South Africa. After that, she was seen in Super Bowl XLVI and London Olympics. However, in 2019 Marisol decided to stop working at Televisa Deporters for personal reasons.
A month later she received a call from producer Magda Rodriguez who gave her the opportunity to return to the station where she would present the morning program called “Hoy”. There she worked together with Lambda Garcia, Raul Araiza and Jorge El Burro among others. In 2022, Marisol was seen in a new show called “Tu cara me suena” a reality show that premiered on Univision. In the program “Your face looks like me” where she presented the program together with Rafael Araneda and Ana Brenda Contreras.
