Melissa Anne Villaseñor is an American comedian, actress, impressionist, writer, musician, and artist. Anne became famous for her stand-up shows and impressions after being cast on the NBC sketch comedy series Saturday Night Live ahead of the show’s 42nd season in 2016. She then left SNL at the end of the 47th season. season in 2022 after six seasons as a cast member.
Born and raised in Whittier, California, United States. Anne attended Ramona Convent Catholic High School in Alhambra, California. she started doing stand-up comedy at the Laugh Factory Comedy Camp in Hollywood at age 15. Melissa continued her education at Fullerton College in Fullerton, California, where she graduated. Villaseñor made a name for herself on the sixth season of America’s Got Talent after making an impression and one of her most popular YouTube videos “Melissa Villasenor’s Impressions!” it gained over 1 million views after it was posted in January 2011.
Prior to that, Melissa was part of the New Faces lineup at the 2010 Montreal Comedy Festival Just for Laughs.
