Michelle Charlesworth is an American journalist who currently works as a reporter and co-anchor for WABC-TV’s popular Eyewitness News on Saturday and Sunday mornings. She has been with the WABC as a reporter for over two decades.
Previously, she worked at NBC 17 in Raleigh, North Carolina as a reporter/anchor. Prior to that, Charlesworth was at WCTI in New Bern, North Carolina, and at WMGM in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
She joined the staff of Eyewitness News in 1998. Since then, Charlesworth has reported on news from Israel and the Occupied Territories to the Oscars red carpet, but she is probably well known for her award-winning reporting on her personal battle with skin cancer. Furthermore, she won the prestigious Golden Triangle Award for Journalism.
