Prior to joining ABC10, Coleman worked for over a year at KIDY FOX on ABC10’s sister station in San Angelo, Texas. At KIDY, she served as a general assignment reporter and replacement anchor.
Coleman was born and raised in Austin, Texas, and graduated with a degree in Cross-Platform Journalism from Sam Houston State University, with a minor in political science. While in college, Monica worked for Bearkat Sports with ESPN3, where she covered basketball, Sam Houston State baseball, and football, conducting post and pre-game interviews and shooting highlights.
