John Bartell is an American journalist who currently works as a general reporter for ABC10 News in Sacramento, California. He joined the ABC10 team in March 2016. You can often find Bartell hitting the pavement covering all kinds of news. John grew up in northeastern Oregon, but home is where he wants the news to take him.
John’s journalistic career began in 2008 at KDRV Channel 12 News in Medford, Oregon. He ran the studio and truck live for a year. His hard work and incredible guidance gave him an opportunity in front of the camera, as the host of a weekly outdoor lifestyle segment titled “Fish On!” The report came after a short time.
Furthermore, in 2011, John moved to Blue Ridge Cable in Milford, Pennsylvania. He worked there for two years covering news in the Pocono Mountains. Murrow Regional Award for an investigative report on corruption at the Progreso Police Department. Likewise, in 2013, the Associated Press named John “Best Reporter” in Texas and “Best Reporter” in its regional market for three consecutive years.
