Biography of Muhoozi Kainerugaba
Muhoozi Kainerugaba is a Ugandan lieutenant general who serves as the commander of the Uganda People’s Defense Force (UPDF) ground forces. Previously, he was commander of the Special Forces Command (SFC). However, both the UPDF and SFC are accused of using excessive force and abductions. After that, Muhoozi and other senior officials are mentioned in an International Criminal Court complaint.

In 1999, he joined the UPDF as a cadet officer and graduated in 2000 from the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, the British Army’s officer training school. Later, in 2011, he was promoted to Colonel.
