Neki Mohan is an American adjunct professor currently serving at Barry University since September 2016. Mohan was a veteran anchor and reporter for WPLG TV in Miami from June 2004 to August 2020. She has covered four hurricanes in a row and received international attention as the only television journalist to give a live report from Jamaica during Hurricane Ivan.
Previously, before joining WPLG, Neki worked at WOIO as an anchor for Morning News. She anchored and wrote for a daily morning show at the CBS affiliate in Cleveland Ohio. In addition, she traveled to special coverage of the Michael Jackson trial in Los Angeles and presented special reports and stories daily for the afternoon shows and the website.
