Nick Toma is an American journalist who currently works as a reporter and anchor at WBRE. Toma joined the WBRE in June 2016. Prior to that, he served as a reporter and anchor at the WQRF in Rockford, Illinois.
He began his career in print journalism in 1988, working as a screenwriter and film critic for a popular daily newspaper near his hometown. Most notably, his first job was as a reporter and weekend anchor for the CBS affiliate in Watertown.
He later moved across the country to Anchorage, Alaska, where he got a position as a reporter and anchor. He had his first morning show experience in Springfield, Massachusetts, in 1993. When he’s off duty, he spends time outdoors comfortably on a ski slope or playing double tennis.
