Troy Aikman is an American journalist who currently works as a color commentator for ESPN’s Monday Night Football broadcasts since February 2022. He was also a co-owner of the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Hall of Fame team from 2005 to 2009. Previously, he was a former football quarterback who played in the National Football League for 12 seasons with the Dallas Cowboys.
However, he went to Henrytta High School in Oklahoma where he played football and baseball earning All-State honors. Furthermore, he also won the Oklahoma State High School Championship in 1983 in typing. Aikman also went to the University of Oklahoma, where he also pursued football instead of baseball under head coach Barry Switzer. Troy also went to UCLA Extension for further study.
