Biography of Pastor Allen Jackson
Pastor Allen Jackson is an American preacher, author, singer, and senior pastor at World Outreach Church located in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Furthermore, he is the founder of Intentional Ministries. He says that Matthew 16:18 changed his life. Allen grew up helping his father care for horses and says he was saved differently.
I accepted Christ as Lord of my life on the kitchen floor of my childhood home and was baptized in the Atlantic Ocean in Fort Lauderdale.
He was determined to pursue a course in medicine, but after reading Matthew 16:18 which says “I will build my church and the gates of Hades will not overcome it” he changed his mind.
Currently, it is formed by Oral Roberts University and Vanderbilt University. He also studied at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary and the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. He later served as Senior Pastor of World Outreach Church.
The church started with very few people, around 30 people, but has now grown to over 15,000 people. Jackson still calls his church “small country church” because of how it started. He currently ministers around the world through online streaming, tv, radio, books and other sources.
