Phil Anaya is a renowned American journalist who currently works as a weekend anchor at KENS 5 News in San Antonio, Texas, United States of America. Anaya arrives at KFOX’s KENS 5 News in El Paso, Texas, where she worked as an office reporter. He also served as a multimedia journalist for KMSB in Tucson.
Phil was born and raised in Las Cruces, New Mexico. He grew up playing football but left the state to attend Valparaiso University in northwest Indiana. After two years at the university, Phil transferred to New Mexico State University, where he received his bachelor’s degree in journalism and mass communication with a major in marketing.
While still in college, Phil gained a lot of experience working as a multimedia journalist for KMSB in Tucson. After graduating in May 2019, Anaya landed her first job as a reporter for KFOX in El Paso, Texas. On the station, Phil covered everything from bad weather to politics throughout southern New Mexico. He later moved to San Antonio in June 2011.
