Rahshaun Haylock is an American journalist who currently works as a sports reporter at KTLA5 News in Los Angeles, California. He joined the station in August 2020 after spending six seasons as a presenter and reporter on “CIF South Section Game of the Week” and covering college basketball on FOX Sports West/Prime Ticket.
Haylock is a graduate of california state university in Northridge, where he majored in broadcast journalism. He also participated Santa Monica College.
Rahshaun began his television career as a writer and reporter for the Hawthorne/Lawndale Community Cable and guest-starred games for SportsNetUSA.net. Some of his notable career highlights include covering the Lakers win over the Celtics in Game 7 of the 2010 NBA Finals, the 2011 NBA All-Star Weekend and interviewing “Zeke from Cabin Creek”.
Beginning in August 2005, Haylock worked as a web reporter and sports graphics producer for KCBS2/KCAL9 in Studio City, California. While there, Haylock was the original host of Carl’s Jr. Fan Cam and was part of a team that hosted the first “Signing Day Special” in the duopoly’s history. At the same time, he worked as a radio talk show host on Angels Radio AM 830 KLAA.
In April 2010, Rahshaun joined Fox Sports West LP as a writer and reporter, where he has worked to this day. While working for the station, Haylock joined the KTLA Sports team as a sports reporter in August 2010.
