Ralph Hipp Biography
Ralph Hipp is an American journalist who currently works as a reporter and news anchor for WIBW-TV Kansas. Furthermore, he joined the station in April 1990.
He discovered his passion for journalism at a very young age. Hipp saw that breaking the news on television to people in his area was a crucial job. He attended the University of Florida, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Broadcasting in 1975.
In April 1981, he joined WCJB-TV ABC as a news anchor. While here, he anchored the 6pm and 11pm nightly news. However, after working here for 6 years, he left the station in March 1978.
In late March of the same year, he joined KSPR-TV as a news anchor. He anchored the evening news on the 6th and 10th. After 3 years, he left the network in March 1990 for a position at WIBW-TV; Topeka, Kansas.
He joined his current station in April 1990 as a news anchor. Hipp is the anchor of the 6pm and 10pm nightly news.
