Reynolds Scott Wolf is an American meteorologist and journalist currently working at The Weather Channel. Reynold also appeared as host of AMHQ Weekend. Previously, Wolf served as a weather correspondent and program reporter for CNN. Additionally, he earned Edward R. Murrow Award-winning coverage during the worst hurricane season in Florida history.
Wolf was born in Charlotte, North Carolina, and raised in Jemison, Alabama. He graduated from Jacksonville State University in Alabama and also holds a certificate in Broadcast Meteorology from Mississippi State University. Additionally, Wolf is a member of the American Meteorology Society and the National Weather Association. He began his meteorological career at WJSU-TV in Anniston, Alabama. Prior to working at WJSU, Wolf worked for many television stations across the United States, including WDIV in Detroit; KXAN-TV in Austin, Texas; and KSBY-TV in San Luis Obispo, California.
While working at KMOV in St. Louis, where he served as the CBS affiliate’s 6 p.m. meteorologist. He served as a morning meteorologist for WKMG in Orlando, Florida, where he helped his station earn Edward R. Murrow Award-winning coverage during the worst hurricane season in Florida history. Furthermore, Reynolds joined CNN in 2006, where he spent six years as a studio meteorologist and field correspondent.
At CNN, he worked as a forecaster, presenter and one of the creators of “Trip On A Tank”; a great travel series proving to be bold, witty and fun, with producers and crew alongside Reynolds. On the other hand, Wolf is also a member of the American Meteorological Society and the National Weather Association, as well as the Alpha Tau Omega fraternity. Currently, he works at The Weather Channel. Reynold also appeared as host of AMHQ Weekend.
