Rob Elgas biography
Rob Elgas is an American reporter who currently works for ABC 7 in Chicago as well as an anchor for the 4 pm news. Elgas joined the ABC 7 Eyewitness News staff on July 7, 2015. Additionally, in May 2016, he became the co-anchor of AMC 7’s 4pm weekday news alongside Judy Hsu.
Rob attended and graduated from University of Illinois, where he specialized in Agricultural Communication and Journalism, before getting his first job in television. He is also a member of the NAHJ, the National Association of Hispanic Journalists.
