Robin Baumgarten is a three-time American Emmy winner and currently co-hosts the WGN Morning News from 6 am to 10 am. She joined the program in 1996 as an air traffic reporter and transportation reporter. Previously, she worked as a reporter in Chicago at Shadow Broadcast Services.
Baumgarten was born and raised in the southern suburb of Burbank, Illinois, United States of America. She graduated from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and is a proud alumnus of Illini, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism.
