American professional basketball player Ronald Delaine Baker, affectionately known as Ron Baker, was born on March 30, 1993, the son of Neil and Ranae Baker in Hays, Kansas, where he grew up with his two other siblings, Audrey and Sloan. He attended Scott City High School in Scott City, Kansas, and then enrolled at Wichita State College, where he studied economics from 2012 until he graduated in 2016.

After a successful basketball career in high school, Ron Baker’s college career actually did not begin very successfully as he retired for the entire first season of his college career, which led him to not play for the Shockers. Although he later got the chance to play for his college team, Ron Baker was not able to deliver an impressive performance as an efficient scorer.
