Scott Levin is an Emmy and Edward R. Murrow multi-award winning American anchor working for WGRZ-TV in Buffalo, New York. He joined Channel 2 in the fall of 1998 as the 5, 6, 10 and 11 am news anchor.
Growing up in Boston, Massachusetts, Scott graduated from Wayland, HS. and then received his Bachelor of Science degree from Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, NY. After graduation, Levin has a successful 10-year business career in Virginia and New York City before starting his career in journalism.
Scott got his first job as a journalist at KNDO-Tv, where he learned everything from scratch and was a complete “one-man-band” filming, writing, editing, reporting and anchoring the evening news.
After Yakima, he moved to Central Virginia, where he worked at WWBT-TV as a morning and midday news anchor. After five years, he left Virginia for Buffalo, New York to join WGRZ-TV. He contributed to making WGRZ-TV the overall news leader in New York’s western market.
Scott is a recipient of several Emmy Awards. He also won a prestigious Edward R. Murrow Award. WGRZ also won the 2011 AP Award for Station of the Year, and multiple NYSBA Awards for Best Newscast.
