Sergey Brin is an American businessman who gained fame and prominence as the co-founder of the multinational software called Google alongside Larry Page. He started his job as the president of Google’s first company called Alphabet Incorporation, but he resigned in 2019 and Larry’s wife, Lucinda Southworth, took over. Brin is currently ranked as the ninth richest man in the world because of his massive net worth of $89 billion USD. He developed Google as a search engine when he was a college student with the help of his business partner Larry Page.
Brin was born in Moscow, Soviet Union, to native Russians who migrated to Maryland, United States. His family also lived in Vienna and Paris before finally settling in the United States when Brin was a nine-month-old baby. His family settled in the United States through the Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society in 1979.
