Rani Netz, better known as Stable Ronaldo, has gone from a Fortnite competitor to one of the most recognizable faces in streaming. Born on January 15, 2003, in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, Netz built a following through a mix of high-level gameplay and an unfiltered personality that resonates with millions. Today, he stands as a prominent figure in the creator economy, with a career that spans competitive esports, content creation, and now music production.
Early Life and Gaming Beginnings
Netz’s introduction to gaming came after a sports injury. A concussion sustained while playing ice hockey forced him to step away from physical competition, and he turned to video games. In 2014, at age 11, he received his first gaming laptop and began playing titles like Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and Call of Duty. When Fortnite launched, he upgraded to a gaming PC and quickly immersed himself in the battle royale phenomenon.
He attended Cherry Hill High School East and graduated in 2021. His early life was marked by his parents’ divorce, and he spent much of his childhood with his mother, a relationship he has publicly acknowledged. In a notable gesture, he retired his mother at age 21, a moment he shared with his audience.
Rise in Fortnite and Competitive Success
Netz’s competitive breakthrough came in 2019 when he won the Fortnite Champion Series (FNCS): Chapter 2 Season 1 Grand Finals. This victory placed him on the map as a serious competitor. However, it was during the COVID-19 pandemic that his streaming career truly took off. With Twitch viewership surging, clips of Netz began circulating widely, including a viral video of him singing Maroon 5’s “Payphone” in July 2020. His follower count skyrocketed from around 800,000 to over one million throughout that year.
In August 2020, he joined NRG and moved into the organization’s content house alongside fellow creators Clix, UnknownArmy, and Edgeyy. He departed NRG on January 5, 2022, citing internal issues, and soon after signed with Los Angeles-based talent management firm The Kinetic Group.
FaZe Clan Era
In June 2022, Netz joined FaZe Clan, one of the most prominent organizations in gaming and esports. He remained with FaZe through its restructuring in 2024 and became a key content creator. During his tenure, FaZe won Best Content Organization at The Streamer Awards in both 2024 and 2025, with Netz hosting the live stream for both events.
On December 25, 2025, Netz announced his departure from FaZe Clan via X, without providing a public explanation. His exit coincided with several other members leaving the organization, including Adapt, Lacy, JasonTheWeen, and Silky.
Streaming Career and Content Style
Stable Ronaldo’s stream is characterized by his energetic personality and variety content. While he initially gained fame through Fortnite, his streams now encompass gaming, chatting, and IRL activities. His ability to connect with viewers through humor and authenticity has been central to his success.
As of August 2026, his Twitch channel boasts 5.1 million followers, and his YouTube channel has 1.15 million subscribers with over 56 million views. These numbers reflect a dedicated audience that tunes in for his unpredictable and entertaining broadcasts.
Financial Journey and Earnings
Netz has been relatively open about his finances, offering insights into the business of streaming. In a 2025 appearance on the “Iced Coffee Hour” podcast, he discussed his earnings and spending habits. He revealed that during months when he streams around 140 hours, he earns approximately $150,000 to $200,000 from Twitch alone. In a particularly intense month featuring a 210-hour Elden Ring marathon, he earned about $230,000. He also mentioned sponsorship deals, including a Battlefield promotion that paid between $200,000 and $400,000 for deliverables, and a gambling sponsorship worth $100,000 per week for two months.
These figures, while impressive, are self-reported and should be considered unverified estimates. They provide a glimpse into the high earning potential of top streamers but are not independently audited. Netz has also spoken about his investment strategies, favoring conservative approaches like real estate in New Jersey and index funds. He famously cited buying his cat Burger for $100 as his best investment, crediting the pet’s viral appeal for helping him earn millions. Conversely, he identified luxury clothing and jewelry as his worst investment, having once spent $30,000 to $40,000 per month on such items before paring down to around $10,000 monthly.
Personal Life and Challenges
In June 2025, Netz announced his engagement to his long-time partner, known online as Boba (real name Kimmy), during a live stream. The couple has been together for several years and often appears together in streams.
Netz was raised in a Jewish household but was not religious in his youth; he has since stated that he believes in God. He has also been candid about the darker side of fame, including being swatted over 50 times and dealing with stalkers outside his home. These experiences highlight the personal security challenges that come with high-profile streaming.
Controversies and Public Moments
Netz’s career has not been without controversy. In July 2023, a drunken Ninja called him “completely irrelevant” and a “failed streamer” during a live broadcast. Netz retaliated by labeling Ninja a “sellout” and criticizing his attitude toward younger creators. The feud ended in December 2024 when Ninja issued an unreserved apology on stream, and the two later collaborated.
In June 2024, fitness influencer Bradley Martyn slapped Netz during a collaborative IRL stream after Netz jokingly snatched Martyn’s hat. The two reconciled in July, with Netz describing the incident as “part of the narrative” that boosted his relevancy. In December 2024, Netz faced criticism after being pulled over for speeding in his Porsche 911 GT3; he later addressed the incident in a video, cautioning followers about reckless driving.
Awards and Recognition
Netz’s contributions to streaming have been recognized by The Streamer Awards. In 2024, he was nominated for Best IRL Streamer, and as part of FaZe, he won Best Content Organization. The following year, he was nominated for Best Reality Streamer, and FaZe again won Best Content Organization. In 2026, he participated in Kai Cenat’s Streamer University and won the Community Builder Award. He also appeared alongside LeBron James in a Polymarket commercial celebrating the NFL kickoff in September 2026.
Beyond Streaming: Music and Other Ventures
In addition to streaming, Netz is a record producer and rapper. While details of his music career are less publicized, his multi-hyphenate status reflects the diverse opportunities available to top creators. He has also been involved in various brand partnerships and collaborative projects, further expanding his reach.
