Her role in A Wrinkle in Time earned her nominations for the Teen Choice Award for Outstanding Actress in a Fantasy Movie and the NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Breakthrough Role in a Motion Picture.
Storm began his professional career at a young age with the film A Cross To Bear (2012). This followed a starring role as Emily in the historical drama 12 Years a Slave in 2013. In 2016, she starred in Sleight as Tina. In the same year, she starred in Leo to the Rescue as Aki. Storm starred in When They See Us in 2019.
