IShowSpeed is a streamer, YouTuber, and internet celebrity who is widely famous for his hilarious reactions to videos on the internet. The internet star has recently been helping one of the biggest TV stations in Europe, Sky Sports, with their broadcasts of English Premier League games.
That was until channel executives discovered a video that went viral in April 2022, which was about IShowSpeed. Speed had been in the stands earlier this month to watch his favorite team Manchester United play Fulham in the league. While there, Speed helped host segments for the channel and also appeared on their social media.
But now, Speed’s promotional material on Sky’s social media has been removed. Sky is reported to have decided after they learned of a viral video in April. 2022 In the video, Speed made extremely hostile and misogynistic comments to his teammates. We can easily find the clip on social media, and when Speed appeared on Sky Sports social media, fans posted the clips of the internet sensations in the comments.

What happened between IShowSpeed and Sky Sports?
As previously stated, the teen social media star is in the spotlight after being linked with the Sky Sports related issue. Due to Speed’s comments in the past, Sky Sports removed all of Speed’s posts on their handles. Not only that, but Sky Sports have decided to sever any ties with Speed in regards to any future appearances on their channels.
Discussing IShowSpeed’s past activity, he made hostile and misogynistic comments to his teammates while playing Valorant. Due to Speed’s words, Games banned him from Valorant and League of Legends. After all this, fans waited for Speed’s response regarding the issue of Sky Sports banning him.

IShowSpeed finally responds after Sky Sports cuts ties with him
YouTuber IShowSpeed finally responded in a message on Twitter just days after Sky Sports removed videos and cut ties with him after noticing the creator’s earlier comments.
FYI, Sky Sports’ Geoff Shreeves had interviewed Speed a few days earlier. However, after being warned about his previous comments towards women, the videos involving the YouTuber were suddenly removed.
So now, IShowSpeed has opened its mouth. On November 18, Speed shared a series of tweets with his response to Sky Sports’ decision to cut ties with him. He said,
“Sky has since removed the clip of me appearing with Geoff and a few others, and I’ve learned this was due to reappearance of comments I’ve made in the past..”
He continued,
“I am 17 years old. I was 16 when that happened and I made a huge mistake. It was stupid and immature. I immediately realized it and apologized. I will continue to work on myself as I navigate this world, growing up online.”
“I recognize that I have a responsibility to set an example for those who follow and support me.”

Speed later also said that he would have loved to have spoken to Sky Sports before they made a decision. And Speed ended his statement by saying:
“I have tried to communicate with them and will continue to do so. I am learning every day and I fully recognize the mistake I made. I love the UK. They have all embraced me and I appreciate that more than anything. My goal is to make people laugh, and I’ll keep trying.”
