Sue Serio is a five-time Emmy-winning American meteorologist and Good Day Philadelphia co-anchor working for FOX 29 since 1997. For more than two decades, she has covered high coastal winds, storms and blizzards.
Sue worked at the WIVB-TV, Buffalo, New York, CBS affiliate as a co-anchor of WAKE-UP. She also served as an anchor for News at Noon before joining Fox 29. Prior to that, she was a reporter and time anchor on WHYY-TV 12 (PBS), Philadelphia.
Serio attended Mississippi State University and graduated with her certificate in Broadcast Meteorology in 1995. She also graduated cum laude from Townson University in Maryland. At the same time that she majored in Mass Communication, she also started her professional radio career at WMAR-FM, Baltimore.
