Sylvia Perez is an American journalist who currently hosts the daily issues and special segments of WFLD-Fox TV Good Day Chicago. She started working for Fox 32 stations in October 2016.
Perz and Linda Yu co-anchored the 11 am news on WLS – Chicago TV from 1989 to 2013. She also covered daily health and medical investigation stories for the 4 pm and 10 pm news as a Healthbeat reporter for the station.
Sylvia has a degree in journalism from Oklahoma University. She began her career in 1983. Perez previously worked in Houston and Amarillo, Texas before joining ABC7.
