Tina Daheley is a British journalist who is currently an announcer and presenter for BBC News, both on television and radio. Most notably, she reads the news on The Radio Breakfast Show with Zoe Ball. Furthermore, she is a relief presenter on BBC News at Ten and BBC News at Six. She also became the voice host of Points of View in 2019.
Tina joined the BBC in 2007. Since joining the station, she has covered stories that have made national headlines. She presented television coverage of women’s football and co-hosted BBC Three’s political talk show Free Speech. Daheley has also hosted 60 Seconds news on BBC Three, E24 on the News Channel and Revealed.
She is the former host of the 1Xtra news show and was also the sports announcer on BBC Radio 1’s The Chris Moyles Show. Tina went on to host Radio 1 Breakfast’s news, sports and weather bulletins from 24 September. 2012. However, she left Radio 1 on 10 August 2018.
