Zachry Dean Callison is an American actor, singer, songwriter, and voice actor. He is known for his titular voice on Cartoon Network such as Steven Universe, Sofia the First and The Legend of Korra. Callison is also notable for her role in films such as ‘Diary of a Single Mom’, ‘Just Add Magic’, ‘The Goldbergs’, ‘Kingshighway’ and ‘Rock Jocks’. Additionally, he received a Young Artist Award for his voice-over work on Sofia the First.
He was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri, United States. Dean graduated from Oak Park High School in Oak Park, California in June 2015. He started singing at age 7 at a local community college after being inspired by performances by his father’s rock band. Callison also went for the audition role of ‘Winthrop’ in ‘The Music Man’. Furthermore, he made his first television appearance in 2009 in a recurring role on Diary of a Single Mom. That year, Dean also appeared in a movie called ‘Ghost Image’. as well as a quiz game show ‘Are you smarter than a 5th grader?’
Subsequently, Zach was featured on a radio show known as ‘Adventures in Odyssey’ which continued for the next 5 years. Afterwards, he headed to Los Angeles to pursue acting, where his agents let him know that he had a talent for voice acting.
