Kevin Jeanes is an Emmy-winning American weatherman who most recently worked at WXYZ as a morning weather forecaster. In 2010 and 2014, he served as a weekend morning meteorologist at the WWBT in Richmond, VA, and then moved to Tucson, AZ until October 2017 as KOLD’s chief meteorologist.
In 2005, Jeanes graduated from Neuqua Valley High School. He later graduated from the eastern Illinois university with a degree in Broadcast Meteorology in 2010 and a specialization in Earth Sciences in Geography and Communication Studies. In addition, he served as Director of Undergraduate and Chief Forecaster for the Eastern Illinois University Weather Center.
In 2006, Kevin began working with Tempestas et Caelum Productions with An Illinois Winter. Also, after the Illinois winter, he and Craig Allen teamed up on various productions such as Expedition Natures Realm, Stinging Dust and Forgotten Lives. On Dust Bowl he serves as producer, while on Returning to Paradise he serves as executive producer.
Additionally, he worked as a weekend morning weather forecaster at the WWBT in Richmond, VA from 2010 to 2014. From 2014 to October 2017, he moved to Tucson, AZ as chief weatherman for KOLD. Fortunately, it has a National Weather Association seal.
