Freeze first rose to fame in 2007 when she became the first female chief meteorologist in Chicago, Illinois, for WFLD, a station owned by Fox.
Amy attended Jeffersonville High School in Jeffersonville, Indiana, where she graduated in 1992. She later attended Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, graduating with a Bachelor of Communications in 1995.
