Adam Joseph is an American journalist who currently works as a weekday meteorologist for Action News at 4, 5:30, and 10 p.m. He graduated from Lyndon State College with a Bachelor of Science degree in 2000.
Joseph’s first on-air experience came in 1998, when he forecast and anchored the weather for LSC-TV. Looking back, Joseph laughs at his green performance, but cherishes the experience. He began his professional career at WBOY-TV as the chief meteorologist in Clarksburg.
Shortly thereafter, he landed a job at WSAZ-TV, where he eventually received the prestigious AMS Seal of Approval for Television. He has also received several awards for excellence in meteorology.
Four years later, Joseph joined WPVI as a weekend meteorologist in April 2005. He loves the balance between pursuing a lifelong passion for weather and diving into the world of entertainment. He fills in for ABC’s Good Morning America when needed and was named Philadelphia’s Best Meteorologist by Philadelphian Magazine in 2009.
Joseph is deeply committed to making a difference in the community and is heavily involved with Hospice and the American Cancer Society. When he is away from his duties, he enjoys lifting weights, running, biking, swimming, spending time with his family, and simply making each day count.
