Alden German is an American meteorologist who currently works as a meteorologist at WHAS11 since joining the station in October 2019. Growing up, he was afraid of thunderstorms but loved snow because during the 2003 tornado outbreak, a tornado hit Kansas. City where your residence was located. After graduation, he moved to Lincoln, Nebraska, where he worked for two and a half years for an ABC-affiliated television station, KLKN. He held the positions of reporter and meteorologist. His stay here saw him experience devastating weather, such as the March 2019 floods and one of the snowiest winters on record, which he covered firsthand.
When he is off duty, he likes to read and run. He can also be found working on his fitness at the gym or exploring Kentucky.
